Roofing Before & After in Jacksonville, FL
We can talk about tear-offs, underlayment, and flashing all day. But walk a homeowner around their own street, point at roofs we’ve redone, and the conversation changes. You see the sag, the staining, the patchwork of old repairs. Then you see the clean lines and new shingles. That’s the proof. Here’s a look at real roofing transformations in Jacksonville, the kind we do every week.
Styles & brands we work with

Recent Transformations
River City Roof Replacement: Asphalt Shingle Full Tear-Off
Before
AfterThe old roof was original to the house, roughly 22 years of Florida sun and rain, with granule loss you could see from the driveway. We tore everything down to the decking, replaced a section of water-damaged plywood near the back eave, and installed a fresh CertainTeed shingle line with new drip edge and underlayment. The home now sheds water cleanly and the roof lines look straight from the street.
Hidden Leak Repair Near the St. Johns
Before
AfterWater was showing up on the ceiling of the sunroom, but the shingles looked fine. The leak was at a roof-to-wall transition where the old step flashing had corroded. We pulled the siding edge, removed the rusted metal, and installed new step flashing sealed with a polyurethane sealant, then relaid the shingles.
Arlington Ranch: Fixing a Poorly Ventilated Roof
Before
AfterThe attic in this Arlington ranch was holding heat and moisture, and the shingles were curling at the edges years before they should have. We added ridge vent along the peak and intake vents at the soffits to restore airflow. Then we replaced the damaged shingles with an Owens Corning line rated for our humidity. The attic temperature dropped within two days.
Mandarin Townhome: Storm Damage Cleanup and Re-Cover

A summer squall tore a section of 3-tab shingles off the north slope and left the underlayment exposed for two days. We got a written price to the owner the morning we looked at it, then replaced the missing shingles, checked the surrounding area for lifted edges, and added sealant at the pipe boots. You can’t tell where the patch starts and the old roof ends.
Riverside Bungalow: Complete Roof System with IKO Shingles

This Riverside bungalow had three layers: old wood shake, then two layers of asphalt on top. The weight was pressing on the framing, and the roofline had a visible sag. We stripped all three layers, sistered two rafters, and built a correct roofing system with IKO shingles, a new ventilation plan, and all new flashing. The home sits straighter now, and the attic stays dry.
San Marco Tile Repair: Matching Existing Boral Tile

The owners loved their tile roof but a cracked barrel tile near the chimney had started letting water into the mortar bed. Finding a true match was the hard part. We sourced the exact Boral profile and color, replaced the broken tiles, and reset the mortar around the chimney cap. The repair blends so well the neighbors asked who did the original roof.
